Windham Arts is promoting their new program Arts Of Main Street in an effort to support & bring business to local businesses. Special notices will go out the week before the weekend events. Arts of Main Street is a monthly celebration of creative people and businesses located on our Main Streets in our communities. On the second Friday of each month local businesses plan special creative events in their stores such as book signings, demonstrations, plays, receptions, live music and much more. Any business can be a part of this “movement” to get people into our unique shops in our downtowns. We invite guests of all ages to come visit and spend a couple of hours meeting new people, relaxing and enjoying the wonderful surprises that are part of this all day event. There is no better way to start the weekend and support our local business owners and creative community. We must give credit to the Main Street businesses in Stafford who were the creators and first organizers of this idea!
