Dear Artists,
Arts Center East is accepting digital submissions for two upcoming juried multimedia exhibits!
New England Charm – Virtual Exhibit
Submission Deadline: May 17
Exhibit Dates: June 7–27
In the late 19th and early 20th Century, Currier & Ives were known for their quintessential New England prints, from The American national game of baseball to American Homestead Winter. But what is it about New England that makes it such a charming artistic subject? In this New England Charm exhibit, we want to showcase visual depictions of New England and what makes it a unique and distinct part of America, from the costal and woodland landscapes, to its Colonial or contemporary architecture, to the wildlife and the weather. What says New England Charm to you?
Flora & Fauna
If current gathering restrictions are lifted, this exhibit will be hung and displayed in the gallery, otherwise it will be a virtual exhibit.
Submission Deadline: June 28
Drop-off dates for accepted artwork: Thursday, July 9, 3:00–6:00pm, Friday, July 10, 3:00–6:00pm, and Saturday, July 11, 10:00am–1:00pm
Summer is the perfect time of year to observe and immortalize all that is alive and in bloom around the world and in our own backyards. The Flora & Fauna exhibit is designed to show off the color and complexity found in the natural world year-round.
Submit your artwork for either or both exhibits easily online. If you have any questions, please email info@artscentereast.org
Good luck!
