Heidi is a contemporary artist who weaves together textures of color and excitement into her pieces of art. It may be a serene watercolor painting to grace the walls of any living space in her watercolor page, a dynamic textured piece made from hand crafted papers and paints in her mixed media page, or hand made little books to hold memories, creativity is her goal.
Heidi comes from a family where some form of art was always being made. Creating gourmet food or tinkering with clocks, ideas were stirring. Heidi started ‘making things’ as a young child but only seriously started with art lessons as an adult where she took many classes and workshops with fine artists & teachers.
Heidi is actively involved in art groups in Connecticut and south Florida where she derives inspiration from painting en plein aire landscapes to the colorful cutting edge of art inspired from fellow artists.
