Connecticut Tourism Readies for Fall

Sep 21, 2017 by WindhamAreaArts

Note from Randy Fiveash Director, Connecticut  Office of Tourism:

Fall is definitely in the air. Although the actual first day of fall isn’t until September 22nd, all the signs are here. Even some snippets of color can be seen in many places. At the Office of Tourism, we have been planning for fall, well before we were even done with spring/summer, planning the seamless marketing of our great state. Our fall efforts are centered on the premise that visitors can Find Fall Faster in Connecticut. They need go no further than our beautiful state to find stunning fall foliage, throughout the state. Along with a variety of unique small towns and B&B’s, with attractions, night life, fall festivals and much, much more, Connecticut is definitely The New England fall destination. It’s a great time to be in Connecticut!

I hope you enjoy the beginning days of fall. Thank you, as always, for all you do for Connecticut Tourism.

Give Your Listing an Autumn Look

CTvisit.com will be switching over to its fall look. Now is the time to update your listing page photographs with autumn/foliage pictures. Pumpkins, mums, scarecrows – anything that says FALL. A good season image makes your destination more inviting to visitors, and may even increase your chance of being featured. If you need help updating your listing page or adding images, contact Jean.Hebert@ct.gov
