Bruce John of Windham was nominated by Windham Arts as the region’s Art Hero at CT Arts Day on March 2, 2017. The award was presented by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman and State Representative Susan Johnson as well as Mary Oliver, retired Program Director for Windham Arts. Mr. John was nominated because of his lifelong love of music and his community. He has dedicated his life to helping people, performing at many fundraisers for non-profits and people in need. It was an honor to recognize Mr. John and we are proud and blessed to have such an gracious and giving man and artist in our region. Congratulations Bruce John for being Northeast CT’s 2017 Arts Hero.
