CLiCK, Inc. invites members of the Windham community to design and paint a mural on the CLiCK building at 41 Club Rd., Windham, CT.
Under the guidance of mural artist, Faith Satterfield, participants will be trained to create a public mural which tells the story of the history and diversity of food in the Windham Community. Participants will be encouraged to bring their own family and community experiences of food to be incorporated into the mural.
Intro to Mural Classes will be held June 25th, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM & July 9th, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Mural painting will be July 16th & July 30th, 3:00 – 6:00 PM All classes are free, open to all ages, and will take place at CLiCK, 41 Club Rd., Windham, CT.
Mural artist Faith Satterfield, owner of Murals by Faith in Norwich, CT is an internationally trained Illustrator. In partnership with her husband’s company, ReaLifEmpire, Satterfield paints murals as part of their Urban Renewal Project. With murals in Norwich, New London, Griswold, surrounding towns, Murals by Faith produces murals that illustrate a message of hope and truth to onlookers.
