The Connecticut Department of Banking is offering our patrons an exciting investor education and protection program and contest called DASH for the STASH. The DASH program and contest will run from March 15, 2016 through May 15, 2016, covering the entire length of Financial Literacy Month (April).
The 2016 DASH program is a great way to give you, our patrons an educational opportunity and a chance to win the statewide prize of a $1,000 contribution to an Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
To enter the contest, visit the library and review the printed posters. The posters will have the QR code and quiz link that you will need to access to answer the quiz questions and to be entered into the contest. Use your smart phone, tablet or Mansfield Public Library’s public computer station to access and answer the quiz questions.
The DASH program and contest runs March 15-May 15, 2016. The winner will be notified following the contest.
The Investor Protection Institute is an independent nonprofit organization that advances investor protection by conducting and supporting research and groundbreaking education programs. IPI serves as an independent source of unbiased and non-commercial investor education materials, and works closely with the State Securities Administrators.
