Healthy Music For A Child’s Heart, Body and Mind to benefit TEEG
Thompson – TEEG, in partnership with Brooklyn Cares, proudly present a children’s musical celebration, A Children’s Holiday Journey on December 5th from 3:30-5pm at the Tourtellotte Memorial High School auditorium in Thompson.
A Children’s Holiday Journey will feature internationally acclaimed children’s educational leader Don Monopoli from The Learning Station as he presents a delightfully festive and multicultural holiday production recognizing Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah. The spirit of the holiday season will come alive as children’s imaginations are sparked with a combination of classic and original melodies combined with entertaining, interactive skits. (Age Appropriate 3-9 years old, and parents will love it too)
This festive event will also include holiday caroling with local singers and TEEG supporters Ted Reynolds, Linda Colangelo, Donna and Andre Bessette; balloonist extraordinaire Noodles the Clown, a family friendly activity hosted by Carelot Children’s Center, as well as a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
The net proceeds from this magical event will benefit TEEG, a local non-profit social service agency that offers a variety of programs including youth services, parenting services, food and fuel security services, senior services and case management. In 2015, TEEG touched the lives of people in northeastern Connecticut in excess of 42,000 times.
Tickets for A Children’s Holiday Journey are ONLY $5.00 and are available at Victoria Station, Midtown Fitness, Trink-et Shoppe, Danielson Surplus Sales, Vanilla Bean Café, Body By Design, and all Carelot Children’s Center locations in Thompson, Danielson and Brooklyn.
