Destiny Africa, a choir from the Kampala Children’s Center (KCC) in Uganda, will perform at Eastern Connecticut State University on April 8 at 3 p.m. in the Betty R. Tipton Room located in the Student Center. The choir will perform music, dance and art, sharing their stories of hope and changed lives.
KCC was established to provide a home for children in Uganda who were affected by poverty, disease and the legacy of war. According to Destiny Africa’s website, “KCC not only provides a loving family home but also excellent education, training, access to healthcare and support as the children grow and develop into adulthood.”
