A Weekend of Family Events at the Benton
June 14-16

Storrs, CT — The William Benton Museum of Art is hosting a weekend of family events June 14-16.
CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY at the Benton, Sunday, from 1-4 pm, with a host of activities including
• storytelling by Tom Lee,
• puppets from the Ballard Museum of Puppetry,
• chalk drawing, and
• a visit from Jonathan the UConn Husky
• ice cream for all and
• door prizes for Dad from Home Depot, Eastern Mountain Sports, FroyoWorld, Dog Lane Café, and Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts.
From Friday through Sunday, the museum will showcase the CSA ART STUDENTS EXHIBITION featuring works created by the students from the Community School of the Arts at UConn. The young artists will be recognized at a reception Sunday afternoon from 3-4 pm.
