Readers throughout northeastern CT are gathering for discussions of the Quiet Corner Reads One Book 2013 selection, NYT best seller Tag Man by Archer Mayor. Tag Man is the 22nd book in the Joe Gunther series, character-driven police procedurals set in southern VT. The Tag Man is a likable burglar who steals nothing but leaves a post-it note next to the sleeping homeowner – until he picks a house with dark secrets and becomes a hunted man. Themes of guilt, family, and loyalty are presented with a twisting plot, a light tone, and compelling characters, making Tag Man an entertaining introduction to a great series.
