To: Connecticut Business Leaders
During the 2016 legislative session, the Connecticut General Assembly passed a bill creating the Technology Talent Advisory Committee to develop pilot programs with the explicit purpose of doubling the number of persons employed in “technology-related fields” within the next 10 years. Though our advisory committee is composed of several business leaders from across the state, we are interested in understanding the specific tech-hiring needs of employers in all industries in Connecticut. Your feedback from this 10-minute Tech Talent survey will be instrumental in determining the greatest gaps in tech talent and identifying where the advisory committee can begin to make meaningful investments. Please fill out the survey by clicking this Tech Talent survey link or copying and pasting the web address into your browser (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TechTalent2017) and submit by Friday, March 17, 2017. We kindly request that your organization’s President/CEO, Head of Human Resources, or Head of Recruitment complete this survey on the organization’s behalf.
I look forward to seeing your input and the results of this survey.
